Charterfields offers a comprehensive financial valuation service to clients, accountants, tax advisers, surveyors and other intermediaries worldwide, across all sectors of business and commerce. Our service support covers includes financial statement valuations, mergers, acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs, purchase price allocation (PPA), stamp duty land tax analysis (SDLT) and support in due diligence process.

Financial valuation reports can be prepared on the internationally recognised bases of market value and fair value.

Our corporate team understands the challenge of meeting compliance for financial reporting. We know the need to focus on the determination of value, depreciation and, where relevant, impairment losses.

Our financial valuations cover the entirety of property, plant and equipment (PPE) asset holdings, with valuations of intangibles being offered through sector-matched alliance partners.

Every financial valuation is led by a qualified member of the RICS and, where regulated purpose valuations are needed, the lead surveyor will be a registered valuer under the RICS scheme.

We report under GAAP and IFRS, and in full compliance with the current Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Valuation – Professional Standards, commonly known as the Red Book.

Where appropriate, we also report under the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) International Valuation Standards and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codifications.
