While headline inflation rates have eased, costs are still rising and the insurance gap (between existing declared values and realistic reinstatement costs) remains extremely high. As a result, many firms continue to risk exposure to underinsurance, and the possibility of a claim being settled at below the true rebuild cost of their assets. 

As such, determining the accurate value of assets through a survey driven reinstatement cost assessment (RCA) remains key to securing critical cover or risk facing potentially significant costs in the circumstances of an unfortunate event.
